An ISIC card is a good way for college students to save money when they are travelling to and from university for the semester; however the greatest savings can be made by using the ISIC card when travelling abroad.
Although students are constantly complaining about being flat out broke, it seems that there is always enough money for a trip abroad during the summer break and as such an ISIC card is a perfect way of getting cheap airline tickets for students. The cost of the card itself is only $20 which is absolute peanuts giving the potential savings and in most cases the card will pay for itself after the first domestic flight.
