These flashlights have the more conventional 13 Watt Fluorescent bulbs that give bright working light over a large area. The models have built-in telescoping and 360? rotating hooks, allowing you to hang them from 2″ of material on any location. The lens covers are over-molded, providing increased durability on the jobsite. The twist and lock lens cover lets you change the bulb easily and quickly while the base of the bulb is protected from getting blackened by the pre-heat circuit. The Dewalt rechargeable flashlight 18V model (DC258) has a longer run time of 3.5 hours where as the 12V and 14.4V variants (DC257) have run times of just under 3 hours.
