Watching this impeccably crafted melodrama, you feel grateful for a veteran filmmaker who serves a gripping story with a confident efficiency thats lean, mean and focused like a laser. Buy Before the Devil Knows You’re Dead Blu-ray At 83 years-old, Lumet still manages to deliver this film in a captivating, edge-of-your-seat fashion. This machine repeatedly threatens to rev up, but mostly just keeps slipping out of gear. Lumets film is a stunner.
