During an outbreak or obvious lesion appearance, many people will avoid going some place new. It could be that they don’t want to explain to others what the disease is, or it could be a lack of confidence again. Either way, psoriasis not only physically impacts the sufferer, it also limits their ability to experience new people and places because they often feel uncomfortable, literally in their own skin.
