France has never been more popular with Europeans and Americans alike. It is a big country ( for Europe) and has many different regions each with its own sub-culture and even climates. this is a country where you can go alpine skiing in wonderful crisp clean snow on Mont Blanc, or sunbathe on the beaches of San Tropez, or anything in-between! The French government have realised that the tourim industry in France is worth investing in and recently there have been new roads, railway stations and even airports. In addition tourism, service and entertainment companies have been actively encouraged with financial assistance to upgrade/expand. The results are many more tourists visiting France and a lot of choice when it comes to entertainment, activities and accomodation in France.
