For the modern-day cowgirls out there, western style ceiling fans can make a statement for you. My daughter and her family are big into western-style living. My little granddaughter loves horses and everything to do with them. There are four children and the family and they all have cowboy hats, even the baby. So when they bought their new house, I wanted to buy them something different as a house-warming gift. I was searching everywhere for some ideas when my daughter mentioned that their house didn’t have enough ceiling fans. I thought that was a practical gift to buy, but wasn’t sure if I could find something to match their style. But lo and behold, I was pleasantly surprised to find that there were actually western style ceiling fans out there! There was quite a selection, too. I finally decided on a sort of Ponderosa style one, with little pine cone scrollwork on it. Needless to say, my daughter and her family loved it! I am now on the lookout for one with some kind of horse design for my granddaughter’s bedroom.
