I have often wondered about the acceptance of online degrees. I am curious as to how people feel about this type of degree compared to a degree from a traditional college or university, in which students actually attend classes and receive face-to-face instruction from a professor. Maybe employers feel that there is no difference between the two types of degrees. Maybe employers frown upon a degree that was obtained online, thinking that the assignments and exams may not have actually been completed by the person who received the degree. Has anyone, who obtained a degree online, had a bad experience with a potential employer after receiving their degree? Has anyone been turned down for a job after the employer found out that your degree was obtained over the internet? Do you feel your online degree is as valuable as a traditional college degree?
